OK Center - The 'Right to Education' Foundation OK Center, the first financial education hub and aggregator of valuable educational content, sustains the organic development of the Romanian society, through a learning approach that starts from the individual to the community, concerning financial management. The OK Center believes in innovation, focuses on youngsters, integrity, continuous learning and collaboration. It sustains youths' responsible financial attitude and contributes to their integration on the Romanian workforce market through the „Career Program – Going beyond Borders” regional project within the Erasmus+ programme concluded in 2017. OK Center hosts and delivers through dedicated trainers a financial education programme dedicated to adults: Financial Fitness. The 'Right to Education' Foundation sustains and encourages the development of financial, economic and managerial skills at the pupils' level, aged 10 to 18 years and provides psychological tools needed in a conscious career planning process..
Olimpiada Micilor Bancheri - The Association for the Promotion of Performance in Education Olimpiada Micilor Bancheri, designed for third and/or fourth-grade students studying "Financial Education", encourages creativity and innovation in education, logical-mathematical thinking, as an addition to the knowledge of financial education acquired in classroom. In 2017, the national phase of the Olympics took place in Bucharest, at the Romanian-American University, where 120 students from all over the country participated, selected after the local phase of the competition from a total of 3,500 enrolled students. Olimpiada Micilor Bancheri is a project developed by the Association for the Promotion of Performance in Education together with the Ministry of National Education, ISJ Prahova and other ISJs in the country with the support of the National Bank of Romania, Alpha Bank, BRD, Dedeman, Idea Bank and Mastercard.
Pensiopedia - NN Pensii Pensiopedia is an online information platform developed by NN for people who want to save for retirement. The initiative behind this project came in the context of the fact that the interest of the Romanian in retirement is among the lowest in Europe, especially among the young people.
Prima mea investiție - Bucharest Stock Exchange Bucharest Stock Exchange, the most important institution of the local capital market, launched in May 2017 the book "My first investment", an unprecedented action taken by an European exchange to raise awareness on the importance and impact of financial education upon the future of millions of Romanians. "My first investment" book tells the story of several investors who have discovered their passion for stock market early, during high school, or later, after the age of 50. România Investește - ERSTE AM 'Romania Investește' is a financial education program initiated by Erste AM that explains what represent, the types and what kind of financial instruments are used by asset management funds. It clarifies and explains the myths and truths about investment funds.
Startarium - an initiative IMPACT Hub and ING Bank Startarium is the most complex online platform for supporting and educating entrepreneurs and start-ups, launched in 2016 as an Impact Hub and ING Romania initiative. Today, the platform brings together over 15,000 users. The content is structured on practical modules – business tools, online classes, interviews with Romanian entrepreneurs, a crowdfunding platform, mentoring, networking and pitching initiatives. Only in 2017, Romanian start-ups received a total support worth 200,000 euros within Startarium.Inc incubator and 100,000 euros in the Startarium Pitch Day competition. The crowdfunding initiatives gathered up 23 campaignes enlisted, 1,000 supporters and total funds offered of over 93,000 euros.
Școala de bani - Banca Comercială Română 'Școala de bani' (Money School) is a financial education program that helps Romanians to better understand and manage their budget and to make them aware of the factors that influence their financial decisions. The purpose of the program is to increase the financial education level of Romanians and to help them take responsible financial decisions. 1.000 BCR employees who become financial education teachers, offers free courses for children, young adults and adults in schools, high schools, universities, company headquarters and BCR branches. So far, over 17.000 adults and 15.000 children and young people attented the Money Scool courses.
